Heavy-Duty Insulated Steel Door
Solid steel construction is the basis for the Model 1000. Two tough steel skins surround 2 inches of CFC-free polystyrene insulation. In addition, a thermal break creates a thermal barrier to keep heat and cold from entering through the door. Each Model 1000 features heavy-duty hardware for a lifetime of smooth operation.
To resist dents, the outer steel skin is made of strong 24 gauge steel and the interior skin is made of 27 gauge steel. The interior and exterior faces of the door feature stucco embossing and the exterior has shallow ribs. The Model 1000 is available prepainted in Commercial White.

Medium-Duty Insulated Steel Door
Amarr's Model 1380 features two steel skins surrounding 1-3/8" inches of CFC-free polystyrene. Each skin is made of 27 gauge steel to provide a solid wall of protection from the elements. Our 5-step insulation system features insulation, weather-stripping, thermal break, and tongue and groove construction for a snug fit between sections.
The exterior face is stucco embossed with shallow ribs. The interior surface is stucco embossed. The Model 1380 is available prepainted in Commercial White.

Models 2000/2400/2500 |
Heavy, Medium and Light-Duty Door
Amarr Models 2000, 2400, and 2500 are the industry workhorses and our most versatile door models. These doors can be factory or field modified with CFC-free polystyrene insulation to fit the needed application. These open-back commercial steel doors are available in a variety of steel gauges: Model 2000 is our heavy-duty door made of strong 20 gauge steel, model 2400 is our medium-duty model, formed from 24 gauge steel, and model 2500 is our light-duty commercial door constructed of 25 gauge steel. Each feature tongue and groove construction and a bottom weatherseal to guard against the elements.
Models 2000 and 2400 feature smooth ribbed faces, while model 2500 has a woodgrain embossed face with ribs. Model 2400 can also be ordered in brown with woodgrain embossment.
* Steel Backer not available on the Model 2500.

OPTIONS
- Window Lites - Framed lites 24" x 4" (609.6mm x 101.6mm) are available. Single glazing is standard with Plexiglas. Frame is of PVC construction.
- Insulation - CFC-free expanded polystyrene (EPS) insulation with a faced or steel backer is available on door interior.
- Wind Load - Contact your Amarr Door Center for specific wind load applications.
- High Cycle Springing - Springs can be designed for 25,000, 50,000, or 100,000 cycles.
- Locks - A 5-pin cylinder lock with interior lock bar and outside key is available.
- Full View Sections - Full view aluminum sections with clear anodized finish can be used in place of framed lites at an additional charge.
- Weatherstripping - Perimeter seal for header and jambs is optional.
- Exhaust Port - To allow the release of fumes, exhaust ports can be installed in bottom section. Tubes by others must be used from vehicles.
